Temple filler is well tolerated and only causes mild discomfort. Local anaesthetic cream will be applied to the area for 20-30 minutes before the treatment.

As with any injectable treatment, bruising is possible. Some patients notice some swelling in the area for the first 2 weeks, which then settles.
